Super Sprite Creations of Richmond, Virginia, needed an online store to sell their bead sprite kits and creations. These objects, made of Perler beads placed on a peg board and ironed to create a pixelated version of classic video game heroes, required a means to inform the prospective customer of what it was and how the product worked.

In addition to showing the product and how it worked, an online store was necessary to sell the product.  Citrine Design used an existing PHP engine and modified it specifically to display relevant information to inform the customer. Citrine Design fused the aesthetic aspects of the design into the education of the customer. The modified PHP engine was organized into product categories by game title and written to handle unlimited expansion in number of products by the company.

The website tracks customer visit information, creates a “Shopping Cart” to keep track of products the customer wants to buy, creates a secure customer account including contact information for billing and email marketing, will merge the customer’s visitor shopping cart into the client’s account after log-in, and will securely process credit card and paypal orders.
